More about events at a Real Bookstore

Authors appearing at a Real Bookstore present their books in our comfortable event area. There is general seating for 40 and standing room. Seating is not reserved. Please come early to ensure your spot.

Authors generally make a 30-45 minute presentation before signing books. There is normally an opportunity to ask questions and interact. We welcome snacks and drinks (including beer and wine) from our cafe in the event area. Outside food and drink is not allowed.

Please purchase your books to be signed from a Real Bookstore. We allow our customers to bring previous titles by the author to be signed when purchasing a copy of the evening's featured book. Retain receipts for books purchased in advance of the signing.

If you'd like to have a signed copy but are unable to attend a book signing, we are happy to have books signed for you. Shipping is available. Please make online purchases of books to-be-signed at least 48 hours in advance of the event. To get a signed book 48 hours or less, please call the store at 972-398-9888.
